How do we check prices?
We open the hospital's or clinic's own price page and copy the figure, what it includes and the referral rule as the page states them. We record the address and the date. If we cannot open a page, or it no longer shows the figure, we delete the row. We do not estimate missing prices.
How often do we update?
Prices every month, on the first Monday. The NHS wait figure is replaced with the latest NHS England diagnostics release, and we name the measure. Each page shows its last-reviewed date near the top and in the footer.
What are our clinical limits?
This is not medical advice. We do not say anyone needs a colonoscopy. We do not interpret symptoms. Contact a GP, and call 999 or go to A&E for heavy bleeding, black stools with collapse, or severe pain. If you have been referred on a two-week wait, keep that appointment. We never suggest leaving an NHS referral or bowel screening appointment for a private test.
Do partners influence what we write?
No. Partners cannot pay to change a page, a price row or its order. See how we make money.
How do we correct mistakes?
Email hello@private-colonoscopy.co.uk. We check the source, fix or delete the figure, and update the date.
