PASECOM GROUP LTD (ICO registration ZC117546) controls the personal data you give through this site. We use it only to pass your request to one independent hospital or clinic, with your consent, and to run the site.

This is not medical advice. We are not a clinic and not the NHS. We do not perform the test, diagnose, refer, or hold a slot. Worried about bowel symptoms? Contact a GP, and call 999 or go to A&E for heavy bleeding, black stools with collapse, or severe pain. If you have been referred on a two-week wait, keep that appointment.

Who is responsible for my data?

PASECOM GROUP LTD, trading as Private Colonoscopy. Company No. 17139327. Registered office: 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE. ICO registration ZC117546. Contact: hello@private-colonoscopy.co.uk or 01455 242326.

What do we collect when I use the form?

  • Your town or postcode, how soon, how you are paying, whether you have a GP letter, and your sedation preference.
  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • Your optional note.
  • The date and time, the page you used, and the exact consent wording you agreed to.
  • A one-way hashed version of your IP address and your browser type, used only to stop spam and repeated submissions.

Because you are asking about a colonoscopy, some of this is health data. Please keep health details out of the note.

To pass your request to one independent hospital or clinic that covers your area, so it can contact you. Our legal basis is your consent, and your explicit consent for the health data (UK GDPR Articles 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a)). We also keep a record of your consent so we can show you gave it.

Who receives my data?

One partner hospital or clinic that covers your area, and only after you have ticked the consent box. On 3 October 2026, no partner hospital had signed with us, so no partner covers any postcode yet. We still store requests, and the thank-you page tells you plainly that nobody will contact you about yours for now. Our web host and email provider process the data on our behalf. We do not sell your data.

How long do we keep it?

We keep a request for up to 12 months, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

What are my rights?

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent at any time, by emailing hello@private-colonoscopy.co.uk. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything already passed on with your consent, but we will tell the hospital. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits, only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner. Until then, Google's consent settings stay at "denied" and the analytics script is not loaded. We do not use advertising cookies.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (names starting with _ga) to tell visits apart. We record a lead event when a request is sent, with no name, phone, email or postcode in it. Your browser stores your cookie choice in local storage. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
