Which waiting-time measure do we quote?

One measure only: NHS England's monthly diagnostic waiting times and activity data (DM01). It counts people still waiting for a diagnostic test, including colonoscopy, at the end of each month. It is not the referral-to-treatment (RTT) measure, which tracks a different clock. Index of releases: NHS England: Monthly Diagnostics Data 2026-27.

What do we leave out?

Any figure we could not open at its source on the date checked. We do not publish two-week-wait performance figures or bowel screening test thresholds until we have opened them on NHS England or screening programme pages.
